Course Details
About the Course This course is designed to bring us together under the night sky to study what the celestial bodies have to teach us and how they help guide and inspire us. Join us for campfire stories, telescopes, hot cocoa, and smores! Come and go as you like JP will get the fire and cocoa going early but will hold space until midnight. Course Objectives In this engaging outdoor course, students ages 6–17 will discover the wonders of the night sky through telescope observations of stars, planets, and other celestial objects. Participants will learn to identify visible constellations, understand basic astronomy concepts, and practice night navigation skills in a fun and relaxing environment. The course encourages curiosity, observation, and confidence while helping students develop a deeper connection to the natural world after the sun goes down.
