Intern Overview
Our internship program is designed for college students who want real experience running outdoor education programs, not just observing them. Interns work directly alongside instructors in the field, learning how to facilitate, manage groups, communicate with families, and deliver a quality program from start to finish.
This is a hands-on role. You will be involved in the actual work of running a Making Tracks program, and by the end you will have a clear understanding of what it takes to do it well. We work with your school to structure the experience around your academic requirements and credit needs.
If you are studying education, outdoor recreation, environmental science, psychology, or anything adjacent and want field hours that actually mean something, this is worth a look.
