About the Course Survival Skills are perishable and I intend to create a time and a space to practice and grow with like minded people. I will be opening up my at home classroom and backyard after 6 long years for anyone who wants to practice and learn with me. Some materials will be included. Course Objectives Provide a community oriented time and place to practice fundamental survival skills for the community. Test and experiment with crafts and skills alongside Erik Rasmussen. Bring your own skills and lessons to share or work on. Skills I Plan to Practice Flint Knapping Arrowheads and Spearpoints Carving, setting and tuning primitive traps Tracking notation and mechanics Bird language and behavior Friction Fire Methods beyond Bowdrill Bowry and BowMaking Wood Carving, Tool restoration, and Tool Sharpening Medicinal Plants, Tinctures, Salves and Poultices Caretaking and Landstewardship Weaving with Cattails ...oh and I am going to build an Horno or clay oven Open to All Ages: All minors must register with and participate with parent/guardian supervision Making Tracks HQ Millcreek City, Utah (address details will be sent out upon registration)
