Course Details Dates: July 21st and July 22nd Schedule: 1 hour, 15 min Start Time: 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 End Time: 10:15 and 11:45 a.m. Age Range: 8-10 and 11-14 Location: Jeremiah Johnson Campground in Hobble Creek Springville About the Course Partnering with Springville City's Outdoor Adventure Camp we will cover some of the fundamentals of survival. This is a private event and if you are not registered through their website you will not be permitted into the programs. Please see the following link for further details. https://www.springville.utah.gov/parks-recreation/recreation/youth/outdoor-adventure-camp What You’ll Learn In this class, participants will learn practical survival skills by building natural head shelters and creating simple water filtration systems using materials commonly found in nature. Curriculum and Skills Taught Through guided instruction and interactive activities, students will gain confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and discover how people have adapted to the outdoors using traditional wilderness techniques.
