Monday 10:00 AM, Starting August 31, 2026 2x Monthly throughout the school year Location: Settlement Canyon Reservoir, Tooele, UT, USA Age Range: All ages. Individual pricing by age group — each participant registers separately. About Making Tracks family gatherings bring neighbors together to learn, play, and get out in nature all at once. These are relaxed, high-fun days built around foundational skills and community. New to the outdoors? Perfect starting point. Already comfortable out there? You'll still be challenged. The whole point is developing the village feel; different ages, different experience levels, figuring it out together. Curriculum and Skills Taught Sit Spot — meditation, journaling, ecology, taxonomy, ethnobotany, morphology, biology, mapping Survival Skills — shelter, water, fire, food, woodworking, leather working, hide tanning, bowery, bone and stone tools, fiber weaving Wandering — nature-based games, aided & aidless navigation, tracking & awareness, bird language, edible & medicinal plants, natural movement Scheduled Vacation Days: Autumn Break: October 27th-November 1st Thanksgiving Break: November 27th-29th Winter Break: December 15th-31st Spring Break: March 31st-April 4th
